Clean Clothes

After 4 weeks, I now have a new washer and dryer. It seems sad that I am so excited about appliances but I am! It took a while to get them only because Home Depot had to re-deliver them 3 times, each time customer service was so unhelpful that I had to call the manufacturer to get anything done. I doubt I will buy anything else from Home Depot.

Anyway here they are.

I spent some time researching these on Consumer Reports and then asked around to people I knew. The LG Tromm always came out on top. I have to say, they are incredible and worth every penny. Its good to have clean clothes again :)

Yup. When we moved to our new apartment (in Nov), we bought a washer and dryer. It was nice having new laundry machines, but even nicer not to have to hang our clothes to dry in the winter...

Tithadesh!

Oh cool, we purchased the same ones a few months back. They do a damn good job of cleaning our clothes. No more tiny holes in my tshirts from an agitator.

Unfortunately, the machines are so wide we cannot close our laundry room door, but that's a small price to pay for clean clothes!

Enjoy!

Oh yeah Michael, much better than having icy underwear! :)

Right Jason, they are on the large size. What I like about them is the steam option, it kind of replaces dry cleaning! Oh not mention the dry-sensor :)

Stay away from Home Depot. They are horrible.
I dont expect them to around ten years from now.

My word verification, come on say it with me everyone:

Yes Gavin, considering how their customer service is going down hill, I doubt they will be around either!

I am happy with mine too! I love the front load. I'm slowly getting settled - I'll catch up on the blogs soon.

I'm heading back to PHX on Thursday to pick up my stuff...I can't wait!

Brinda bought a set like these. The only drawback I can see is that you have to buy different, higher priced--of course, detergent. Too many buttons and options for me, I think some of them are overkill. Until my 15 yr. old set dies (heaven forbid) I will have to stick with simplicity.

Yep, the detergent is higher priced but you use about a tenth of the amount, so its actually more cost effective. Not to mention the savings in water and power.

There are alot of buttons but they are actually very straight forward!
