Costa Rica and Doctoral Stuff

Sorry for yet another lapse in blogging.

The Costa Rica party was a great success. The parental units came in and were the hit of the party with all my friends. It was nice to see everyone I know mingling and getting to know each other. I think the biggest culinary hits of the party were the Rosemary Agave Cake and the Pineapple Basil infused vodka. Neither of which lasted very long. There was a standoff over who would get the last piece of cake, it ended without bloodshed :)

In other news, I was formally accepted into the PhD program today. Wish me luck!
